Government cancels personal cellular licenses
Acting President and prime minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has signed a decree which removes the requirement that users of personal communications devices receive a license from the General State Supervisory Department for Communications. The list of equipment includes cellular phones, Inmarsat terminals and other wireless devices.
