Robertson & Blums to automate GUM

Robertson & Blums has announced that it has signed a contract with the Trade House GUM for the delivery of JDEdwards OneWorld system. The contract was won as a result of a tender in which GUM also considered SAP and Baan systems. Using OneWorld, the customer plans to automate all of its financial, trading, management, warehousing and other processes in its main building as well as in 17 branches in Moscow and other cities. The system is to be implemented by Robertson & Blums in cooperation with Ernst & Young. The first stage of the project calls for the installation of the Oracle-based version of OneWorld, including the modules Finances, Manufacturing and Distribution, on 100 workplaces, and for the delivery of computer hardware.
