Cisco Systems opens seventh regional academy in Russia

Cisco Systems and Russian State Technological University have announced that they have opened a regional network academy of Cisco. In January and March Cisco plans to organize training of two teachers in its Academy Training Center in Edinburg University. The first classes will begin in Spring 2000 for the university’s students free of charge. According to Cisco industrial and educational projects manager Ivan Agafonov, in addition to the existing seven academies in Russia his company plans to open another five ones.
