Cisco presents new solutions in Moscow

Last week the Moscow office of Cisco Systems demonstrated a new architecture for the creation of voice, video and data networks - Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data). Cisco AVVID for corporate customers consists of four separate modules: IP infrastructure system, phone calls processing platform, messages processing application, and intelligent clients. The new architecture is based on the Internet and enables to combine products from different vendors. The company also announced a new multimedia package, including Cisco CallManager 2.4 call manager, Cisco Media Convergence Server 7830 multiservice platform, two IP telephony gateways Cisco DT-24+ and DE-30+, as well as two IP telephones.
