Ascon starts Almaz project

Ascon has announced that it started a project to automate branches of the Central Maritime Design Bureau Almaz in St. Petersburg. The contract calls for the implementation of the CAD system Jubilee Designer's Kit Compass on 50 workplaces. According to Ascon technical support manager Sergey Evsikov, his company had initially installed the system on five workplaces and provided customer training which lead to the larger contract. The project runs for two years and consists of four stages.
