IT to automate Izvestiya office

Systems integrator IT has announced that it signed a contract for the automation of the office of Izvestiya, one of Russia’s biggest daily newspapers. According to customer relations manager of IT software systems department Andrey Maksimov, his company intends to implement some modules of its system BOSS-Corporation to automate accounting, financial planning, budgeting, logistics, human resources, reception of advertisements and circulation management processes of the customer. The project is expected to run for nine months. The first stage, including the audit of the customer's business processes and the installations of Sun Enterprise 450 server and Oracle Server DBMS, is to be completed by December this year.
