MacCenter, 3Com announce contest winner

MacCenter and 3Com have identified the winners of a contest among the developers of applications for the PalmOS platform. The contest was held from June 15 until August 30 and eventually brought together 12 authors of 20 applications. The first prize - the Palm V computer - was given to the developer of the archiving program PalmZip 1.2; the second prize - Plam IIIx - to the developer of AutoPilot, a reference system for car enthusiasts; and the third - Palm III - to the developer of Silkyboard, a hardware and software package for the entering of texts. 3Com is currently considering possible commercial use of the third application.
