Verbatim closes down Russian office

Last week Verbatim officially announced that its Russian office had been closed on August 30 and its two employees had been laid off. According to former representative of Verbatim in Russia Valery Trusov, the closing of the office is part of Verbatim restructuring being carried out by its owner Mitsubishi Chemical. He says Russian distributors of Verbatim will still be able to sign direct contracts with the vendor's German office. Mr. Trusov will continue his work with Verbatim as a consultant.
