IBM cancels Networking Day'99

IBM EE/A canceled its Networking Day'99 seminar that was planned for September 6 in Moscow. In an official statement the company says that the decision was caused by an agreement recently signed with Cisco Systems which calls for IBM to phase out its routers and switches. According to IBM EE/A PR manager Roza Romanova, if Networking Day is organized in the future it will have to be coordinated with Cisco Systems.
