OAO «TMK» is a participant in the international specialized exhibition “Tube 2006” in Dusseldorf
OAO «TMK» is to take part in the X International specialized exhibition “Pipes – production, finished product, application”, which is being held in Dusseldorf (Germany) on 24-28 April 2006. At this international forum TMK will present products made at its enterprises and state-of-the-art developments and also hold meetings and negotiations with its partners, clients and suppliers of equipment, including SMS Meer, SMS Demag, Danieli, Bronx and VoestAlpine. The topics of supplying modern equipment for the production of high-quality metallic products for the programme of modernization for steelmaking and tube-rolling production, as well as increasing the quality of output products, will be discussed. In 2005 the capital investments made by TMK for these purposes amounted to 114 million dollars, while around 1 billion dollars of investment is planned by the year 2010. As part of the exhibition TMK will also hold a presentation for its foreign partners and clients, devoted to the Company’s fifth anniversary (Hall 3, CCD Stadthalle, Eingang Sued/South). As the largest manufacturer and exporter of pipes in Russia and the second largest pipe company in the world in terms of production volume, TMK supplies products to more than 60 countries around the world. TMK’s main export markets are Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, South and South-East Asia, and the CIS. TMK’s export volume in 2005 amounted to 750,000 tonnes of pipes, increased more than fivefold since 2001. The international “Tube” exhibition in Dusseldorf is the central forum of the world metallurgical and pipe industry and is held once every two years. The “Tube-2006” exhibition will be attended by around 1000 manufacturing companies of pipes and metallurgical equipment, as well as buyers of pipe products from more than 80 countries of the world.
