Law on Electronic Digital Signature Passes second reading
The Russian State Duma has accepted the Law on Electronic Digital signature at its second reading. According to the law, a digital signature file will have the same legal effect as a paper document if the signature has been checked with an open key, the certificate was valid at the moment of signing, and the file has not been modified.
