IVK wins large order from the Russian Ministry of Federal Affairs
IVK has announced that it is starting the delivery of computers and
peripherals to regional offices of the Ministry of Federal Affairs,
Nationality and Migration Policy of the Russian Federation. According to
head of IVK marketing and development department Valery Andreev, the
contract was won in a tender, which also brought together such companies as
IBS, I-Teco, Croc, and K-Systems. The contract calls for IVK to deliver to
85 Russian regions 450 IVK Platinum 2000 workstation, several IVK Commander
II servers, over 500 MB-branded printers and copiers, 100 Hewlett-Packard
scanners, about 300 modems, and about 150 APC uninterruptible power
supplies. The project is valued at about 20 million roubles (about $0.7
million).
