Association-800 suggests creation of association of cellular operators

Association of AMPS/D-AMPS operators (Association-800) has held a meeting in Voronezh to discuss the market situation brought about by a dumping policy carried out by CDMA operators and possible convergence of the existing standards into a third generation of cellular networks. In connection with the latter issue, Association-800 announced an initiative to create uniform association of mobile operators in Russia.
