IBM starts promotion of e-business solutions

Last week IBM EE/A announced in Moscow a program for the promotion of electronic business solutions. The program calls for a 35 percent discounts on equipment and software designed for e-business. The vendor offers two bundles - E-mail and Teamwork in the Internet, and Electronic commerce in the Internet. The bundles comprise one of the following three IBM servers - Netfinity, AS/400or RS/6000, and a 'yellow suitcase'. The suitcase for E-mail and Teamwork in the Internet includes IBM 2210 router, 10 licenses for IBM Small Business Suit (including Lotus Domino), DB2 databases, a package of office programs and software for the creation of Web pages. The second suitcase includes IBM software for the creation of an Internet shop - Net.Commerce V3 START. During the course of the program, the price of the first bundle with the Netfinity server will be $6,700 (regular price - $9,800), and the second bundle on the same platform - $8,220 ($12,000). The initiative runs until December 31.
