DPI publishes annual results of Apple sales

DPI has announced the results of its third year as the official representative of Apple Computers in Russia. The company reports that the sales of Apple technology in Russia now account for 88 percent of pre-crisis levels. Power Mac G3 account for 63 percent of total volume (67 percent in 1998), Power Book - 2 percent (2 percent in 1998), iMac - 34 percent (22 percent in 1998). The company also announced the price of Power Macintosh G4 - about $1,850 - which is to ship in two or three weeks.
