Compulink has announced that it has started a project to deliver and install computer equipment at higher education institutions in Russia’s central region and Siberia. The contract was won in a tender held by the National Foundation for Personnel Training in May. The tender also brought together such companies as IBS, RedLab and Stins Coman. In the framework of the project Compulink will supply hardware from IBM, Acer, APC, Canon, Duplo, HP, NEC, Epson, 3COM, Sony, Riso, MB, AESP and other vendors (a total of about 70 brands). The work will be carried out in cooperation with Compulink regional partners. The project is valued at about $800,000 and is scheduled for completion in the middle of January 2002.
